Default New woodwork supplier on Sunshine Coast

Some of you Sunshine Coasters may have seen the ads in the mags or on TV, but for those that haven't we have a supplier, Wood n Workshop, opened in Dual Avenue, Warana.
I dropped in there today and had a yarn and wasted the time of owner Bruce Haggie.
He has a workshop there producing some beautiful examples of wood art, and he's selling Felder, Hammer, Festool, Carba-Tec, GPW gear. Lots of turning supplies and some lovely timbers and veneers. And plenty of U-Beaut products.
Worth a visit and let's support him so we have a local supplier long into the future.
    Brian

    Thanks Brian,

    That's a store that's long overdue!

I can feel a short drive coming on. It's close enough to be even cheaper than mail order!

    Cheers,

    P

We lost the DIY Shop at Maroochydore recently.
I've been here in Nambour since 1974 and I think DIY Shop was always there for those hard-to-get items. But it would never subsist on the few dollars spent on my occasional visits, and it seems all of us together didn't constitute a viable market.
Hope Bruce and his Wood n Workshop prosper.

Brian, you would have been in Crosby's Hardware I'm sure. Not a hell of a lot of useful stuff but you never know what you might find in there. Really old items still marked in sterling.

Just down the street from me but I might drop in once every 2 years and it has deteriorated further. Rusting dust-encrusted stock, a total shambles.
I don't know how it continues in business, but I've been saying that for 10 years.
