if anyone's interested I can bring a video of some woodies if France hand making Chestnut Shingles for roofing on recreated old hand tools.

The timetable.
Saturday 3rd March.
8.30 AM-9.00 AM: From tree to timber.
9.00 AM-10.00 AM: Machining using the jointer and thicknesser.
10.00 AM-10.30 AM: Smoko and chat time.
10.30 AM-12.00 PM: Layout and joining table top.
12.00 PM-1.30 PM: Lunch.
1.30 PM- 3.00 PM: Mortising and tennoning using the router.
3.00 PM-3.30 PM: Smoko and chat time.
3.30 PM-? Setting up for copy turning and turning the legs. Joining legs to frames ETC.
Sunday 4th March.
9.00 AM-10.00 AM: Making the buttons.
10.00 AM-10.30 AM: Smoko and chat time.
10.30 AM-12.00 PM: Sanding and preparing to finish.
12.00 PM-1.00PM: Lunch
1.00 PM> Finishing.
These times are pretty flexible and are only a rough outline of what is going on.
