New Woodworking Website
Hello down there! I am a new member of Woodwork Forums from the state of Indiana (USA) and just wanted to get started in the posting. I have a relatively new website for woodworking called Ol' Dave's Woodshop that was launched towards the end of last summer. The site is designed to help new woodworkers find resources, have a place to post pictures and/or stories about their shops, view or post projects, etc.
One of the lastest project posts is one of my own projects, a hard maple traditional workbench shown here.
I have a page on the site relating the details of the build process of this bench if interested. It can be found at: http://www.oldaveswoodshop.com/Workbench.php
I'm excited about the opportunity to talk woodworking with you guys down under and welcome any comments that you may have.
Dave

Welcome to the forum Dave. The workbench has turned out great. Your web site is interesting and the kitchen project is something you should be proud of. Looks like you are going to be busy during retirement.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

Dave, welcome to the show.
Took a look to your website, great workbench, great shop, Your own build kitchen looks fantastic.
Wish I had that space for woodworking, once I had that space, but lost it by moving over to Bergen op Zoom. Now I have a small workshop just big enough for my turnings.
But I'm happy.
Have fun.
