workshop space for rent
Hi all,
I am looking for people (a person) who are interested in sharing my workshop in inner Melbourne (Elsternwick to be exact). It is a fully equipped workshop that would suit either a hobbyist or professional.
It is around 72 sq.m. with 3 phase power and double roller door access to road.
Soundproof machine room contains:
- Felder BF641 combo machine with buzzer, thicknesser (400 wide), full size sliding panel saw (with scriber), spindle moulder.
- Twin drum sander (600mm wide).
- Bandsaw.
- Table router.
- Drill press.
- Dust extractor.
Workspace contains full range of hand and power tools.
Hourly, daily or weekly rates available.
Please email me if you are interested to discuss rates.

hi
my wife and i are looking for a house or apartment to rent or buy and finding a place with a decent workshop area is quite difficult and limits the options considerably.
i am a very part-time hobbyist but am a keen woodworker and so rental or hire of a workshop from time to time; usually on a weekend for a few hours at a time might be a good option for me.
does this sort of arrangement look attractive to you? ie hire on a casual basis?
cheers
anton

workshop for rent
Hi Anton,
Thanks for the message. A casual basis would be fine. Nights are OK too (machine room is soundproof).
Cheers,
Martin

Hi there, are you still renting out space? I live in an apartment and would be interested in a fairly casual basis (weekdays, weekends etc)
many thanks
Craig

Hey Martin,
I'm from 10 years into the future (2019) and was wondering if you still had a workshop that was accepting casual membership?
