Having been a long-time voyer on these forums, I thought that those of you based in NSW/Sydney might be interested in this:

Pozible & Company Workshop has a Pozible campaign running to set up an open-access co-working facility in Sydney: A creative hub where anyone can come and use spaces, tools and equipment to work or dabble. The plan includes four workshops (CNC Shop, Wood Shop, Metal Shop, Ceramics Shop) and two specialty studios (photography and casual access desk space), store, gallery and short courses.
A great initiative to support and only 14 days to go to help them reach their target.

We have only until October 20 to raise the funds through our Pozible crowd-funding campaign - if you're not familiar with crowd-funding, it's an all or nothing model - if we hit or exceed our goal of $20,000 by October 20, the pledges you make are activated. If we fall short, we go home empty handed.

There are so few places to go for casual access, to borrow tools, use equipment only needed occasionally (and not worth investing in!). This space is for you.

If this sounds like something you would love to access, we need your help to make it happen. We are seeking 600 people to pledge $25 (or more!) before October 20. You can choose some great rewards for pledges above $10!

Please share the news with anyone who you believe would love to access our workshop!
