WOW! Who'dathunkit?
Just got stats for the BB from our new statistics analyzer and hit counter. The old one died in March.
Would you believe it.
Bulletin Board 256,861 hits so far this month, with an averaged of around 215,000 for the past 4 months.
Woodworking Australia which is on a completely seperate counter has had 153,760 hits.
And our new site http://www.ubeaut.biz has had a further 23,174
A total for the month so far of 433,795. Bloody hell....... there's still almost 3 days till the end of the month, we could break the half million mark by then.
Geez, I wish I could figure out a way of getting 1 cent for each hit. I might be able to retire early or something.

What stats software are you using?
Look at the hits number and it looks huge - but of course you know that the only really meaningful number is the user sessions?
Good numbers though - it's always nice to see that someone else likes something we built - virtual or built with timber & glue.
1c per hit and we'd all be retiring I make a few hundred a month out of one of my personal web projects, and consider myself lucky to get that much

As at midnight 31st August the BB had 282,548 hits (user sessions) for the month of August. Entire successful site hits were 4,238,220 but these don't count. These stats are supplied by our Service Provider.
Won't have the full report on the rest of the site for a few days but would think that we will go close to 475,000 for the entire site. Didn't make it to the magic half million but we're getting there.
Of interest:
118,190 hits came from within Australia.
55,920 were from unknown origins.
37238 from USA, Canada, New Zealand & UK
The other 71,000 od were from 14 other countries.
Strangely it looks like the yanks are using the rest of the site much more than Australians with USA making up 41% of the users for that site and Aussies only 33%.
Sorry bout the gloat over the stats, they're pretty boring I guess, unless their yours. Give yourselves a pat on the back folks, cause they are yours.
Hehehehehe......

Definitely Soundman. Pity we don't have a few good woodworking suppliers with their s**t together in Australia offering good online ordering and an affiliate program to help support sites like this. I'm sure the advertising works well for Neil, but a few extra bucks always helps
Neil: You ever thought of starting forums specifically for tool/machine reviews? I know there's a fair bit of this on the US sites, but as we all know the range here is often different. I'd love to see a specific area where we can all go post a review of each of our machines. Would be a great resource I think.

Gooday.
You have a few forums where you can put up your experiences with machines or products now.IE tools and machinery, have your say.
You have to remember that it is one persons opinion and we all have different criteria for tool and machine usage.
Also, complete canning of a product won't be tolerated. Ther are subtle ways to express dissatisfaction without calling it complete crap.
