Yeah, and now they have those dumb ads promoting themselves. "Subscription" TV. They dont even call it pay TV anymore. The merger was supposed to be good for everyone....

WOOHOO!!! Squeeky wheel gets the grease. With 15 seasons to choose from hopefully we might get to see some of the early stuff.
I would love to see season 1, 2, etc. It would be great to see how the show developed from the early days.
I just hope my house doesn't sell in the meantime as it would be hard to justify the wife getting AUSTAR hooked up in temporary rental accomodation while the new place is being built.

As soon as I get my DVD recorder I will be making a LOT of "backup" copies of This Old House and New Yankee Workshop.
Have been recording them onto HVS since feb '01 - and for the record, discovering that they were ON PayTV was the only reason I got it put on
There is also: The House That John Rebuilt, on Discovery, Sunday's a 2:00pm - it has been repeated three times that I know of.

Has anyone seen "Boyz in the Wood" on Discovery Channel? God it is s**t! This weekend they made an "antique dowery box". They had some nice tools (eg Leigh dovetail jig, Dewalt 625) but their approach, style and finish was nothing compared to NYW. Am I the only one who couldn't understand what the guy from Liverpool was saying???
This time, we didn't forget the gravy.

Here's hoping Foxtel also bought the 2003 series, which includes Norm's new router table...This time, we didn't forget the gravy.

now I know no one here would DREAM of having pirate satellite setups, but if you know anyone who does, a reliable source was overheard yesterday saying all pirate cards will fall over on the 13th of this month ......
can't imagine what it all means, but I thought I would
