I can't believe it, peeled potatoes are now being sold, to take the hard work out of peeling potatoes. this is for real.
I flabbergasted,... again.
Who could possible think peeling potatoes is hard work, except maybe people suffering arthritis, I suppose (not having it, I dont know).Mick

Its prolly done for restaurants and the supermarkets are just gettin ghtem too. I don't like the idea of them. Peel keeps things fresher. Plus, I refuse to be that time poor.

its common bit it aint real good
Most of the chips you buy/eat etc come parboiled and frozen so they can be dropped into the oil and cook straight away. When I was in the UK the local cafeteria had frozen chips ex New York.

at Big Rooster in 1988 we used to put the spuds in this thing that spun around and abraded the skins off, then we fried them.
