    In theory, there is an ice cream maker down stairs some place.
    The OP looked so good, I might have to find it.

    Here at 53N, I have to suffer with local treats =
    1. Maple syrup (by law in Canada, no grade of MS can have anything at all added to it.)
    2. Birch syrup. Similar but unregulated. I got some with added sugar. ### was that for?
    3. Juice from my own grapes, reduced 50% and sweetened just a little. Waffles (+/- cocoa) with sour cream and the most lurid of electric purple grape syrups on this planet.
    4. Bison jerky done with apple wood smoke.
