100 asa film
Whilst I have a couple of Kodak digital cameras I still like
to give my Nikon SLR a run now and then.
However, I am having difficulty finding 100 ASA film
... does anyone know a supplier please?

Do you want B&W film or colour negative for colour prints?
I currently have around 400 rolls of various 35mm film in my fridge and freezer.
Vanbar will have film in their online catalogue, they are located in North Melbourne and Carlton.
Michael's Camera store in the City have plenty of film in store, including 100 ASA stuff.
Camera Action also in the City should have 100 ASA film.
These three carry film always and have both B&W and colour negative.
Slide film is another matter these days.
Mick.
Ps Forgot to mention, I only use film.

Kodak have in 2008 released a completely new 100 ASA colour negative film, so what you have heard isn't quite correct.
Currently it is being released world wide in 4x5" and 8x10" format in April this year.
It's called Ektar 100 and is incredible, I will be trying the 4x5" version myself later this year.
KODAK PROFESSIONAL EKTAR 100 Film
By the way there are quite a few 100 ASA colour negative films still available. You can also shoot their 160 ASA films and rate them at 100 ASA, virtually all wedding photographers using film use this film, or Fuji's similar product.
I myself prefer the 160 films for their inherent low contrast and when pulled to 100 ASA you will have finer grain and usually high colour.
Mick.

Many thanks guys for your quick response. The major shopping
centres in the Northern suburbs have plenty of outlets, e.g. Kodak
and Rabbit etc but do not carry 100 ASA.
I have not been to Vanbar for a few years and had forgotten about
them. Will call in there tomorrow for a look.
Cheers,
