Ants in Camera
For some unexplained reason, my Canon 350D has been invaded. Three ants have got in there. This camera always has had a lens on it, so I don't know how they got in. One has subsequently died and it's remains are on the other side of the focusing screen. Not sure what happened to the other two, but I have a bad feeling.
Anyway, my daughter heard me moaning about this and yesterday took me out to Harvey Norman and bought me a 7D
I'm so looking forward to getting my hands on this camera and having a play

I have an old Fujifilm S2 that needs replacing. Can I borrow your ants now that you are finished with them?

Compressed air in a camera?? Not a very safe thing to do...lol but it might be a bit of fun...
Just the body Ray, have to use existing lenses, whether the quality of pics improve, time will tell...
Hmm wonder if I could rent the ants out? Nah, there yours Avery if you want them...lol

I have a double 240 Volt power point in the front part of my shed. About a year ago I noticed a lot of activity from those little black blokes going into the pin holes and in through the holes where the switches are. From one week to the next the activity was vigurous to "Oh they have gone".
But... I was using the PP the other day and turned off one switch which fell out onto the floor. So I had to replace the PP. I pulled it to bits, for my amusement, and found that they had secreted ant goo that ate the plastic. They must have been too small to get zapped by the power but they made the PP inoperative with their secretions
Why they moved in has got me. Oh when i went to change the PP they were well and truly missing, apart from a carpet of deadens in the mounting block
Motel!! Is that why they used it?Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Congratulations on the upgrade Bob and welcome to the 7D club . Once you've worked out your settings you can record them in this spreadsheet (assuming you've got a spreadsheet program that opens and edits Excel files)

Thanks GJ, can't wait to play with it. Thanks for the spreadsheet, I do have Excel.
Shame there's a few things not compatible, batteries are different to my 350D, so is the remote release cable, but I'm looking forward to learning this camera...
