Australia Day 2008
It is a Saturday this year, we want some good photos, no excuses.

i went for a 6.5 hour cruise today around the central coast. i took some awesome photos. can i post em and claim i took em on aussie day

Another warm up! (No I'm not going to produce one a day) I just went down to the beach this evening, and at Mooloolaba it's floodlit, and I got there just as drinks were being taken in the day-nighter.

These Photos don't seem like much to most people, but this is the first Australia Day in 5 years that they have been running. That's pretty special for a lot of people here.
The first is Queen Mary Falls, near Killarney QLD, and the second is Dagg Falls, which is a couple of km's down streamHave a nice day - Cheers

G'day,
Here are some shots of what it means for me as an
• having a gum tree in the backyard
• a Hills hoist in the backyard
• a Victa lawn mower, so long as it goes then (goes 1st go everytime)
• a shed in the backyard
with all the above on a 1/4 acre block with room for kids to smack a cricket ball; and lastly
• somewhere to prop up your vitamins after a hard days yakka.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Hi there,
Hope everyone is enjoying their Australia Day! I took the kids along to the local pioneer village, which put on an open day. Lots of huts, sheds and other outbuildings relocated and jammed full of assorted historic junk; farm animals; blacksmiths; stationary engines and windmills. A fair assortment of woodworking tools, but not much in good nick, although some has been used...like a froe and beetle to split shingles. Some really great stuff in my book!
So here is my Australia Day photo, the inside of a shed chock full of old mowers, inc. the odd Victa!
