Almost certainly a Bromiliad, specially with those leaves to go with the flower structure. Huge variety of flowers, both colours and shapes.

I thought that it was a bromiliad, but it's nothing like any of the others we have. Still a nice addition that adds a little colour to the pots.

Yep, that's a bromeliad.
One of my favourite plants. I have a bit of a collection - probably about 20 different types.
I had some flogged from my garden once. I gues the thief thought he was entitled to take them to the markets and make a buck.
