Yes mate, I realised that. Great lens though for its size! So where did you get a lens hood that takes filters? That's a newie on me!

Yeah, a mate uses a TZ 5/15 which has a hi res hi contrast LCD and can take hi def video - with outstanding results.
Mine is a DMC-FZ10. It came with the lens hood which has a threaded end for filters. 72 mm though so you pay for the privilege! The camera is also the size of a compact DSLR so there's no slipping it into a pocket. But it has full manual controls as well as programs so you can retain creative control.Cheers, Ern

Mine is a DMC-TZ4K and I'm very happy with it. It's not a Nikon but it's a hell of a lot easier to carry around than my Nikon D50 or my old F4! I love the convenience of being able to carry it in my pocket, pull it out and virtually shoot straight away!
