Default A day in the park

Took the new toys down to Tarra Bulga last Tuesday to have a play around.

    F16 1/13 sec. ISO3200 Lens: Sigma 17-70 @17

Couldn't resist getting a shot of the long jetty at Port Welshpool on the way home.

The wind was blowing a gale at Port Welshpool and I'm lucky the shot came out as good as it did.

Had a really good day out learning the ins and outs of the camera. I've obviously still got a long way to go but I'm looking foward to the experience.

On the downside I managed to bend a pin in the CF Card slot whilst playing around with the camera at home that evening . It's now in for repair....... ~$270 and 10 - 15 working days

just to fix a pin ouch

    GJ nice shots

The one under the pier if you had set the depth of field settings you would have got the whole clear view into the distance (I always use to forget also) still brilliant shot.

    Thanks for the compliments Ray.
As I said it was blowing a gale and I didn't want stop down any further in case the shutter speed was too slow and the shot was blurred. As it was I had the ISO set on 3200. I will definately go back to that pier and try for better shots.

Yeah, they have to replace the CF Card Module. Not covered by warranty as it's classed as user error. Doesn't really make much much difference as I purchased the camera on line from Hong Kong (no Australian warranty)

It's not hard to take good shots when you've got beautiful scenery to photograph. I will admit to doing a little post processing.

    Cut that out!!!
