Default Edith country side near Oberon

My sister & husband have almost finished building there retirement house near Edith just out of Oberon....
We went up there on Saturday to have a look around....such pretty country side...
They are on the east side of a hilltop overlooking a beautiful valley and while there is a look of old growth timber, my brother-in-law planted acres & acres of special eucalyptus trees about 8-10yrs ago which will be mature for harvesting in another 6-8yrs for making veneer.
They are also running sheep & cattle to keep the grass down as well as food for the table; the roast lamb that night as from there sheep and delicious.
    Cheers, crowie

The added beauty of mushroom picking in the area. Snow come 3/4's of the year, Oberon Steam and Wood fest in feb/March.
