Ummm..... OK. Will Tea Lady understand?
Actually, with her newly found suppleness she can probably get into places other demonstrators cannot reach, so if I was I would want a full rundown on Ashley's credentials first before making changes.
Ohh.. probably TL would still produce and would be "out" or perhaps it would be run more on the lines of the evening news. Two people interacting.

Oh. There's bird-watching involved? Is TL the referee?
When I was doing a lot of magazine writing, I wanted to do a piece called "Ground Zero," the set up of a fireworks show that the public never gets to see. Back in that day and time, those "fit young blokes" did, in fact, waltz around with 10-minute railroad flares to light it all. But the company liked the exposure in a nationally circ magazine and they bought lots of rights for illustration in their website. Quite profitable for not even getting my hands dirty.

Those European Classics ought to be fine with steel toe caps.
Dry ground only, I suppose. You could spend the entire day stomping gophers (aka Richardson's Ground Squirrels = pest/nuisance/bounty) with those heels.
Who the hello is Ashley? She any good with a 12 ga shotgun?

Well TL, looks like Peter has thrown down one of these and the ball is firmly back in your court...

The shoe depicted looks perfect to me with steel toecap and heel.

So good I might suggest we adopt it at work. However when I think about it, this particular shoe might be better suited to a solid floor like concrete, laced with suitable quantities of sawdust. Our grid mesh might be a problem and the lads may not warm to such a radical new style quite the way an acomplished wood turner and Tai Chi expert would .
Just so I can't be accused of hijacking this thread I have included one of Grumpy's fabulous firework pics to bring us on track and head off all those who would portray me in a bad light .

Now on a more serious note:

Robson Valley.
After such an informative post on the technical aspects of firework photography and pyromania in general you have incriminated yourself big-time! (Remember you can't claim the 5th ammendment over here. And don't go giving us that BS about that being the preserve of those rednecks south of the border - overuled on the grounds of it doesn't fit the story and here in Oz we never ever let the truth get in the way of a good story).
Firstly, you clearly didn't read Grumpy's thread on building a cyclorama. This is particularly important to him since renouncing his first love, woodwork, for the sake of the digital image. Secondly, how could you not know Ashley? How.....Never mind, your post must have touched a sympathetic nerve with him as he has filled you in and you now can take your place in the queue.
With regard to your question on Ashley's prowese with a 12ga (I suppose you haven't read the Primary Response thread either https://www.woodworkforums.com/f43/pr...sponse-163419/), I have to say I have no idea. However I can confide, strictly between you and I, that she can do amazing things with an AR 15 .

and also she is a dab hand with a glock. Who said happiness is a warm gun?
She is quite an accomplished young lady and amongst other things can instruct on how to tie a tie, but now I feel the need to show one of Grumpy's fireworks fotos:

Charming, useful bird. Reminds me somewhat of Chloe, upstairs at Young & Jackson's in the city (Swanson & Elizabeth?). Then some ambitious fool had the painting restored.
Also reminds me of discussions regarding over & under shotgun barrel configuration vs side-by-side. Some people claim that s/s is harder to shoot as blokes are always trying to get a peek at one barrel or the other.

Chloe of Monsieur Jules Joseph Lefebvre fame? N'est pas?
I have to ask as I'm not from Melbourne . I did ponder whether Chloe would have been as good with threaded fasterners as Ashley. BTW, you may have noticed Ashley has some friends.
I particularly liked this one .
