Focus stacking
I bought a cheap macro rail off eBay the other week so I thought I'd have a go at focus stacking. I first heard about focus stacking here, although I only used 21 exposures.
Macro rail off eBay ~$40.

First image of 21. I didn't quite get the focus as sharp on the first imaga as I would have liked.

Final output after merging in Photoshop. There's a little bit of ghosting due to vibration. Note to self, make sure the washing machine is not doing a spin cycle when doing macro shots .

That looks like fun. I already have very nice bellows. What software do you use?
The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

I have Photoshop 6. Pretty old, but so far it's done what I need. I'll take a look and see if it will do focus stacking.
