Default Fred seeks help on the Nikon D90

until a week ago i was a happy chappie.
Then i was taking photos and uploaded to PC and said to myself thats rubbish.
No matter what i do the photos are not sharp.
so i have a full battery.
    4 1/2 frames (H) per second selected
    selected vivid
had the sharpen option on 9 and reduced that to 4 but it made no difference 9 and 4 look the same.

I think somewhere along the line i've maybe pushed a button inadvertently while
putting the camera into the bag or taking it of the bag. I just don't know.

When i press the button half way down to focus and then fully down to take the photo
i can count one and before it takes the photo. setting is AF-C
I thought it may be the lens so i put it on the D40x and it works fine.

    Any help advice really appreciated.
If you ask me a question tomorrow i will not be around until maybe 8pm as i have to go the city
and will be there all day, so don't expect an immediate answer.

Ive looked at a couple of youtube vids but they didn't help.
    Cheers Fred

    Hi Fred

best solution is to do a reset on your camera by pressing the 2 geen dots at the same time
    detalis can be found here
    Nikon D90 User's Guide

    about halfway down the page
not sure if you have looked at the ken rockwell site but its quite good for camera settings

    cheers
