Thanks Trev. Your Scamander photos have inspired me to 'have a go'.

Thanks TC. Only about 3 feet. The family started with two about 8 years ago and we give them a little snack of an evening and now there are a total of 9 if they all turn-up.

Just looked out the office window.DSCF0136.jpg
This bloke is about 20ft away.

Even though a python, he can stay in the bush...my brother who lives on Brisbane's northside removed a nearly 3mtr skin from his ceiling space....

Nice photo of the butcher birds though I'm not a fan prefer the Kookaburra...

Some nice bark patterns from our front verandah. Maybe good jigsaw material.

PS. Being very much an amateur, any helpful criticism much appreciated, thank you.

These trees are a bit like repliconics blue wrens at this time of year.

Sorry Fred you'll get "No Criticism" here be it helpful or otherwise.
But you may get some tips along the way, and always feel free to ask a question.

Tip one, Keep the date stamp turned off.
Your photos look much better without it.

    Cheers Mate
    Trev.

Thanks Trev. 'Tips' is what I should have asked for. Wondered about the date stamp.
Really enjoy checking out your great photos and your modelling skills.

Been a bit slack so thought I had better add a couple of shots taken recently.

The first is a little fella that wandered past. About 25mm long.
The second, looks like just out of hibernation.S0062041.jpgDSCF2042.jpg

    Thanks Trev.
Certainly is an interesting 'put-to-gether' character, that's for sure.
I am still working on a better result with the Macro images with this camera. More practice and experimenting, me thinks.
We are so lucky in this country to have the great variety of subjects to marvel over and photograph.
Your photo and modelling skills really amaze me Trev.
    Cheers, Fred
