    Default Gulf Island National Seashore

Fenderbelly was kind enough to share his pics of Innes National Park, so I thought I would share some from Gulf Island National Seashore, Pensacola, Florida.

The island was decimated by hurricane Ivan in September of 2004. It was literally stripped of vegetation and much of the island was flooded for years. It was finally opened in 2009.
The plant life is gaining year by year.

Nice Ed, you've captured the essence in 1 and 2.
We think we know it all but mother nature can still teach us a thing or two.
    Cheers Fred

Gee's Ed the town will never be the same. He is supposed to be coming back to Sydney for another visit some where in before then.
