    You could just buy a cheap point and shoot and hold the thing still.

    I recall hearing about a digital back years ago and feeling a twinge of excitement, thinking there was a chance of resurrecting my collection. Then I thought it simply disappeared, replaced by cheap digital autopiloted cameras.

    Is there a chance of that twinge returning?

    I'm sorry, I do not have that information. If you Google digital 35mm back you can see the various reportage reagrding same.
