Some holiday snaps
We went away for 5 days to the North Coast of NSW because SWMBO said she has never been there.
So we went down to Crystal Creek via the Natural Arch NP, which is a place I've never been to as well.
We then toured off to see the rest of the North Coast but the water still laying around from the previous weeks rain prevented us from going any further south than Iluka.
Natural Arch HDR photo
This is a HDR pano (36 shots), it was blasting a very fine mist off the waterfall & we got pretty wet by the time I'd finished taking photos. I'm surprised that the pic isn't as spotty as I expected.
On the walk out of Natural Arch
We stayed at Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat & can highly recommend it.
Crystal Creek
From there we went off to Byron Bay... full of yuppy wankers & ferals. Saw more good looking blonds in black mumblers, white singlets, running shoes & sunglasses than any place I've been before. Must be some kind of uniform. The only day the sun came out
Cape Byron. The obligatory view from lighthouse picture. 16 shot hand held pano.
Went south to Ballina & Evans Head
We got as far south as Iluka but couldn't get to Yamba as the road was closed.
Waiting for a feed at the Iluka Fish Co-Op. Really good fish 'n' chips!!
On the return trip we overnighted at Lennox Head. The owner of the place we stayed at, overlooking the beach, said they had 145KPH winds & rain the previous week... glad we were not there!

Hoilday Snaps
Hi there
From west of the divide, bleak and overcast NSW
Congratulations on those photos!!!! You have a really good eye.Too many people today take "snaps" not photos. To compose and frame does take a little finess, but its not rocket science, But you, my boy, have mastered it. The brain can capture and appreciate a particular scene but we can't remember all the little details like a photo can. We need a decent photo to get our brain to remember the scene and reappreciate the time we were there.
We have some absolutely fantastic places right on our doorstep to appreciate, if only we take the time to look, To record these places and to get them out and have a look at our leasure is a gret pastime.
Congratulations and keep up the good work
Regards Rod

Major they are brilliant photo's as others have said not one out of place and well thought through.
There are area's like the Creek all that I have been and considered spending a few days at each to capture the different light and shadows.

Great photos Major
Is that Blackbean burl still sticking out into the path down to natural bridge? I've been very tempted to take a hand saw down, based on the safety issue it posesNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Some lovely photos MP. Love the pano in particular.
Why do so few people comment in in this photography forum?
We see some terrific shots and hundreds of views but very few comments.
Any way keep shooting.
