Interchangeability of Canon lenses
Does anyone know how well older Canon lenses fit the new digital cameras? Specifically, I know of an Eo5 film camera with a good 35-105 lens that's selling for $95.00. Will this fit on my EOS 30D? What other brands work on the Canon bayonet?

It should work. The 30D is an EF Mount camera, and so is the EOS 5
The Canon EF Mount is quite versatile, because it uses one of the shortest mount - to - focal plane distances of any SLR, and so many other brand lenses can be used with an adapter. I use an Olympus lens with great success on my EOS DSLR. Most popular 3rd party lens manufacturers make lenses to suit EOS - Tamron, Sigma, Vivitar etc.
Hope that helps,
