    Default Jumping Spider

This is a Jumping Spider that I see in my garden sometimes, its technical name is Cosmophasis Bitaeniata .

Great photos Ironwood, considering the size of your subject. Cheers, Fred

    More great shots.
This forum has got some shutters slapping at the moment.

I would've said spiders weren't my favourite thing.
But it's hard to go past either how cute the damn thing this.
Or how well his been photographed.

    Really nice work!.

    Cheers
    Trev.

Thanks Fred. These little Fellas make up in character what they lack in size, he's about 8mm long.

    Thanks Trev.
I have noticed these last few days there seems to be a bit of activity in the photography section, so I though I would throw up some of mine as well.

My wife hates spiders - that would freak her out ( won't show her the actual size of spider )

    Great photo - thanks

Fabulous photos, but not sure I would trust the little buggers wanting to jump at me while fiddling with the focus etc.
I am looking at this on a 13" Mac laptop and the first 4 pics you put up are about 200mm x 130mm, whereas the last one is about 230mm x 145mm.
Funny thing happened yesterday while accessing this thread, the screen refreshed itself and all 4 photos reduced to about 70mm square, the same size as many of the pics put up using the standard 'manage attachments' system. This morning, all photos almost fill the screen, and remain full size.
There is a note on the top of this post regarding not using Photobucket etc., and it appears to me that using a mobile phone to create posts and upload photos creates full size photos via Tapatalk, but I do not understand the workings of that process. Maybe Tapatalk is a better system than Photobucket?

I have just read Big Shed's post 'Bay of Fires - Tasmania' https://www.woodworkforums.com/showth...28#post1910528
which explains how the photos are being posted without Photobucket at a larger size than normal. Very helpful, I will experiment.

Cheers Al. Thanks for the feedback on the photo size, I prefer the look of Freds method, I just have some concerns with how long it takes the forum to resize each photo from a fullsized file.

Another test shot...I have loaded this one as a png. It still took at least a minute for the forum to resize, so no saving there.
Just seeing if there is any difference in how it is displayed.
