Keep the series coming. Nothing like seeing shots from around where I used to live.
I make things, I just take a long time.

Great shots. A lovely place in the world.

We stayed there once. Pity the resort rooms were full of cockroaches.

But we can't turn away people from NSW. It's discrimination.

Seriously, Kooralbyn is a strange place. For people who don't know, some very rich people somewhere decided to build a resort town in the Kooralbyn Valley some 100 K's south/west of Brisbane. It has a spectacular golf course, a resort, an international school, and, well, generally expensive infrastructure to support visiting rich people (with an eye to the Japanese, I imagine).

But from the start the place has struggled, and half of the infrastructure has been abandoned. At the moment they're re-furbishing the resort (some consortium is giving it another go, I think), but the town is starting to fill out "naturally"with the spill-over from suburban Brisbane.

Anyway, as usual with me, the people/buildings of the area take second place to the landscape and flora and fauna. There are more kangaroos in Kooralbyn than people, and that suits me perfectly!

    Thanks for the nice comments.
