    Default Another new lens

Ok, ok, I know it. I used to be a tool whore, now I'm a lens whore. Honest dear, I won't buy any more camera gear, maybe just one more lens.

I ordered a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG OS Lens on line last Monday and it turned up Thursday arvo. Not bad service from Hong Kong.

    Some nice shots there GJ.

I am not familiar with the Canon 70-200 2.8, but if its as good as the Nikon version, it will be a stellar performer. The Nikon works well with a tele convertor also.

    Ahhh, my bad .

Well same goes for what I said anyway, I am sure it will serve you well.

Have you heard if it works well with a TC ? I know one guy using the Nikon 70-200 2.8 with a Nikon 2x TC, he is getting some great wildlife shots with it.

Very sharp performer there John. This is one lens I have never had the opportunity to purchase. I always wanted the Canon 70-200 though which is why I haven't bought one. Just too expensive!

Just been looking through these again and i really like them.

I have this lens for the nikon D90/D40x, i've only used it twice i think, looks like i'll have to get off the rear end

    and start using it again.
    Cheers Fred

I borrowed a friends 2x Canon Converter and took a few shots. See for yourself, all shots taken with O/S turned on.
