New Nikon
Hi everyone
Now that I have a camera that can 'see' and record different shades of red, I am going to photograph the 100 or so roses in my garden eventually. I've also got a trip to Yarrawonga Mulwala tomorrow, so lots of things to 'shoot' there.
I'm quite please with the new camera. In comparison with the Nikon, I have noticed that some of my earlier photos look distinctly 'soft' alongside the new pictures.
It's a good thing I am teaching myself Photoshop CS3. I can highly recommend the Mark Galer/Philip Andrews book, 'Photoshop CS3, essential skills'. It's a book with exercises to apply what you are learning along the way. I managed to get the software at a bargain rate, whilst I was a student doing a short course at the local TAFE.
Mark Galer is a photography lecturer at RMIT and knows a thing or two about teaching. I can see me re-processing quite a few of my earlier shots in time to come.
So expect to see a string of shots from me on the forum. Gotta a lot to learn about this sophisticated little sucker. You have been warned!!!
Cheers
LiliB
