Default Rain awakens some curious fungi

The recent rains stimulated the growth of some curious fungi in the mulch under my mango trees.

    Hi Rocker,

Weird little fellas. Never seen that type before.

Last time I found some funny fungi and took photos to show people I got even stranger looks. Some people just don't appreciate the unusual I guess. Onya Rocker.

    Cheers

I really like the red/orange one. It looks like it could be an insect eating thing.

    Hi Rocker,
The one on the right is a Stinkhorn, and probably has a putrid smell up close which attracts flies (for fertilization or food I can't remember). We had some come up in thick garden mulch after rain.

    Cheers.

Change is inevitable, growth is optional.
