Trev could tell them how in love with them you are and one of them might blush.
    We can live in hope.

I only got a few shots off during the day.
But the time spent with the camera is most enjoyable and makes for a nice break from working on the Brough.

I'll need to go back today with a more suitable lens and see if I can get a better shot of this little flower.
It's a Flying Duck Orchid another one of those things I've never seen before.

    IMG_8478.JPG IMG_8482.JPG IMG_8486.JPG

Mind you if it wasn't for Paul the guy who takes care of the reserve showing me where the Orchid was I'd never of seen it.
It's a tiny little thing and it really does look like a flying duck!.

    Morning Dave!

I went down to the beach yesterday morning after a sunrise shot but it was a bust, nothing to get worked up over.
I took one up the coastline but that was it for the views.

    IMG_8514.jpg

Heading off the beach I found an Oystercatcher.

    IMG_0639.jpg IMG_0643.jpg

    IMG_0644.jpg IMG_0646.jpg

Back home a Thornbill was hanging around.

    IMG_0673.jpg IMG_0676.jpg

Even a Firetail was on offer but as always never quite in a nice clear shot!.

    IMG_0703.jpg IMG_0699.jpg

At the end of the day even caught a Black-headed Honeyeater.

    IMG_0788.jpg

OK Dave you've waited long enough!.

    IMG_0771.jpg IMG_0772.jpg IMG_0777.jpg

    Have a great day folks.

    Cheers

I spent yesterday working on the Brough.
The camera was at the backdoor so I gabbed it when I noticed any birds around.

    IMG_0812.jpg IMG_0821.JPG IMG_0836.jpg

Grey Shrike-thrush, Wattlebird and Golden Finch.

    IMG_0865.jpg IMG_0866.jpg IMG_0868.jpg

Tassie Thornbill love the first shot you'd reckon he was listening for bugs!.

    IMG_0884.jpg IMG_0885.jpg

    Dave's Blue Wren!.

    IMG_0948.jpg IMG_0964.jpg IMG_0959.jpg

The Rosella nicked an apple from next doors tree and a Yellow-throated Honeyeater.

    Cheers
