Had a great day through the lens yesterday getting some really nice shots.
But apart from fulfilling the "Dave's Blue Wren Contract" there's one shot that to me just stands out.

    It's a Thornbill with a caterpillar it's just caught.

    IMG_1016.JPG

The shots taken right through the tree, the thornbill was on a brand on the other side.
You can see the twigs and other foliage blurred in front of him, which I don't mind at all it was a really tight shot to get.
Damn I love this Sigma 600mm it's the "Bee's Knee's" or in this case the "Thornbill's Breakfast".

Here you got mate Blue Wren in the morning sun.

Love looking at what you've photographed each morning, THANK YOU Trevor....

Now while this mornings Blue Wrens have a heap of character, the Thornbill with a caterpillar it's just caught is today's "SHOT OF THE DAY"...

    Cheers, Peter

I got a couple more shots of that pesky Firetail.
Honestly it has a knack of making it hard to get a good shot of it.

Tassie Thornbill's are much more cooperative.

These are the first photo's of a Silvereye I've gotten.

Just have to go with the Blue Wren's today.
I spent way to much time on the Brough yesterday.

After I'd posted the Blue Wren photo's earlier this morning I felt like I should've had some more than that.
So I took some shots of the sunrise.

This first ones off the front deck of the shack over looking the lagoon.

The rest are down at the beach just in front of the Scamander Bridge.

That's better now I don't feel like I was being so lazy!.

Thank you for the beaut bird photos and especially that beautiful sunrise..
We watched the sunset over Sydney city skyline from North Head last weekend, can't beat the beauty of creation.... Peter

Well it had to happen either the Wren's where to fast yesterday or I was to slow.
That's the first day in I don't know how long I haven't snapped one.
Still lucky I've got a good back catalogue.

    IMG_1321.JPG IMG_1008.jpg IMG_0984.JPG

I did a couple of shots of a Thornbill on the fence.

    IMG_1347.jpg IMG_1350.jpg IMG_1352.jpg

And a Thrush having trouble keeping it's skirt down in the breeze.
