Geez Trev, you don't need to marry TWICE to be over-critiqued?
I was worried that the new place might have been too big to get the photo opportunities that you found at Scamanda but apparently not so. I remember a late night ABC (SBS?) TV show a few years back about bird spotting (twitching?) in Tasmania. It was a competition where people loaded into cars, drove around for (I think) 24 hours and recorded sightings of birds. It was a fabulous little show about the birds, and people who recognise them, and I wish I could find it again but that leads me to something else....... maybe the new place should be Robinsbrough?

    Google 'twitchathon'.
Or its equivalent for photographers, the 'phototwitch' . The winner is the person who takes recognisable photos of the highest number of bird species in a set period. It's a lot of fun.

I think we can arrange that my good Sir!.

I've got to say I was surprised early this morning when I found that we'd had an upgrade in our local lawn mowing service.
I guess with the larger area here compared to the Shack it was felt necessary to have something a little more robust than the fluffy tails we had.
    This one even does hedges!.

I love the parallax effect of the shot through the window.

From what I've heard about this type it can at times be a little stubborn!.

I guess if we end up in a place with even more land we'll have something with a little more horse power.
    Maybe even a ride-on model.

    Cheers
    Trev.

It's just clicked over to 15 pages, so you're on the way.

Actually I set my forum pages to 40 posts per page, easier to use then the forum default.

Very quiet around the place yesterday.
Well that's to say the birds where going off their heads out in the bush, but not so much around the garden.
Maybe the goat scared them off!.

I think it's some sort of toadstool there's a few of them growing in the front lawn.

I don't know about this one with the bug in it.
It looks like crusty bread and it has a stork so I'd guess that makes it a toadstool as well?

There's tons of weird stuff that grows in the bush around here (and no that's not a hooch reference).
I'll have to take some shots and see if anyone knows what they are!.

    Cheers

As promised Peter here's some shots of the new place.

It's four bedroom, double shed on 5 hectares or in old money a bit over 12 acres of bushland just outside St. Helens.

    IMG_9550.jpg IMG_9540.jpg

And here's some photo's of the general lay of the land around the house.

Hope you like the place, we sure do!
