No the frogs didn't climb the glass they just hopped around looking fantastic.
The wind got up pretty high yesterday making a lot of the birds take cover.
But a few braved the elements.

In the first photo of the Scarlet Robin a gust of wind was trying to blow him off his perch.
But have a look at the grip his got on it!
I think his feathers would've flown off before he did.

Late in the day the Rosella's where back on the lawn.

The Wallabies are all over the place at night even coming right up around the door.
Only problem is when you turn the light on they all run like heck.
Maybe I should leave the outside light on and see if they get used to it?.

It was the roaring 40's down here yesterday.
WOW the wind can rip across the top of this hill.
Just sitting outside and watching how far the trees can bend over but still not brake was amazing!.
Some photo's of a Herbert Bird doing his thing and one shot of a Tassie Thornbill was all I got on the day.

More of the same weather which is making it hard to get photos.
The smaller bird's as specially are staying out of sight and I can't blame them.

    Great photos mate,

I can understand how you feel now about working in the shed and a flock of birds come by - yesterday had a flock of cockatoos come and noisily congregate in the tree next to the shed - had to rush in to get my camera.

    Great shots Trev

    Regards

    Charlie

Not much going on here yesterday there were very few birds around.
But that doesn't stop me from walking around in the bush trying to find them.
It makes for a great way to spend sometime each day.

I don't reckon I'd wont a peck for that Butcherbird.

Here's a bit of fun from the other day.
A Herbert Bird being Photo Bombed by a Bug!.

Here's a series of shots I took yesterday of a Hovering Herbert.
They where taken at 100th of a second, trying to increase the blur to the wings.
Hopefully giving more of a sense of motion.
The downside is any movement in the birds head stands out a lot more.

    IMG_0542.jpg IMG_0553.jpg IMG_0555.jpg

    IMG_0559.jpg IMG_0560.JPG

Were as these previous shots are taken around the 500th a second mark.

    IMG_9596.jpg IMG_9594.jpg IMG_9338.jpg

Any options on which looks better?.

    Cheers

On "Herbert" Trev...Number six is the one for me...magnificent..

Back a day...I do not like the Butcher Birds as they can be a nasty fierce bird living up to there name....BUT great photo..

THANK YOU for all the photos, I'm still showing my old gent at our weekly morning tea and he seems to very much appreciate them.
    Cheers, Peter

2, 3, 6 & 7 are my favorite. Not sure which one is number one of the four
