No mate Crowie's not giving me ideas, I've already gone there!.
I was saying to Charlie the other day I should turn it into a train to pull his carriage around with.
Don't think he was to keen!.

I mowed about one and half acres with the old girl this morning.
    She never missed a beat!.

And a big heads up for Cowboy tomorrow morning.
Best you have your finger on the like button mate.
The all year round Blue Wren, I got him!!!!!!!!.

    Cheers
    Trev.

As promised here he is the all year round Blue Wren.

I think from what I've read to be permanently blue the male needs to be at least four years old.
Allowing for how rarely you see them I'd imagine not many get to be that ripe old age!.

    IMG_3112.jpg IMG_3119.JPG IMG_3121.jpg IMG_3125.jpg

It was nice to see this pair of Scarlet Robins in the garden.
It was just after I'd mowed the lawn, I think they'd turned up to see what the mower had stirred up.

    IMG_3293.jpg

Although not as colourful as the old man this youngster seemed keen to get in frame.

But always my favourite to try and photograph "The Herbert Bird".
You just never know what his going to do!.

I love the way the light has caught his eye in the second shot.

It was a really fun day with the camera.

    Cheers

    Great photos as always Trev,

You can tow my carriage around (in 2 years) and if you build the track - no worries

    Take Care mate

The turning circle on that John Deere chopper (get it?) must be atrocious.

You're into your photography just as much as your building Trevor. Well done on the happy snaps; they're top-notch.

Mowing that front lawn really seems to have got the Wrens to come in at the moment.

I've had a good look at the pictures of the Blue Wren in the first photo to that of the one from yesterday.
I'm fairly sure their not the same bird.

    IMG_3295.JPG IMG_3314.JPG IMG_3319.jpg

I really like the backdrop the light between two gumtrees has made in the third shot.

    IMG_3327.JPG IMG_3345.jpg IMG_3365.jpg

The female Robin is looking for movement in the grass.
With the lawn being mowed the Rosellas are finding the spots the ride on couldn't go.

It's been raining down here for the last 24 hours.
So the camera didn't see the light of day yesterday.
Not that it would've even if it wasn't raining the day was so overcast I don't think you could've taken a photo without using a flash.
    "Winter in Tassie Beautiful".

So here's a few shots from the last week or so.

It's still raining at the moment but hopefully it lets up during the day.

    Great stuff Trev.

You have our morning 'start-up' highlight, hardly ever missing a day, regardless of the weather.

    Many thanks,
    Fred

I'm guessing that would have been the nudie swim I've heard people talking about.
Considering the weather down here their very brave people!.

The weather was a bit of a problem for photos yesterday around here as well.
I only got a few moments to see what was around.
Luckily a couple of the regulars didn't let me down.

Nearly a bust for photos down here yesterday.
Wind, rain the hole nine yards!.

But the day was saved by a Scarlet Robin.
