A cold morning but later a beautiful day yesterday.
I managed alright with the camera although holding it at eye level of a length of time soon got the finger throbbing.
Still we make do with what we've got!.

I'm not to sure what the slight obsession with blood and gore is that runs through the forum is all about.
If I was to try and take a photo of my figure in it's currant state I'd more than likely pass out.
But I did take a shot of my well worn boots keeping warm next to the fire.

I think wool lined gumboots would be more the go for around here in winter.
Cheers

Just a thought Trev about Wool Lined Gumboots...
'Righto, kick it in the guts, Trev... '
Gumboots, they are wonderful, gumboots, they are swell
'coz they keep out the water, and they keep in the smell.
And when you're sittin' round at home, you can always tell
When one of the Trevs has taken off his gumboots.

Thanks for the tip on the gumboots Peter, I'll certainly see if I can find some.
Although not in the colour range of the ones on the link!.
Hopefully I'll never have the gumboots on long enough for them to get smelly.
I can honestly say I've never had a problem with smelly feet, that's reserved for those that wear shoes!.
Of cause that can at times depend on where you step!.
Very few photo's yesterday the finger was a little worsted for wear.
But I got some shot's of Blue Boy early in the day.

So what is wrong with you if your feet smell and your nose runs?
You are upside down.

On a different note Charlie was in Maldon yesterday at the train station.
He was nice enough to take a photo of the old miners cottage Tayne and I lived in years ago.

It's good to see the place still standing, although I notices the chimney that was leaning so badly has either fallen or been removed.
There was a little bungalow the right of the cottage where I built the Outlaw, but it looks as if it's been removed.

Maldon "Great Little Town".
If your ever in that neck of the woods go and have a look "You Wont Be Disappointed".

Glad you liked the photo Trev,
The people up there were so friendly.
Maldon is a step back to the 1900's in many regards I think - quite beautiful

Ah ha, now I see the significance of the photo. I was wondering what it had to do with the trains. Forgot you used to live there.
Been to Maldon a few times and it is well worth visiting for the heritage side of things, but the whole area is quite a good trip.We stayed at Castlemaine earlier in the year to go to the Lost Trades Fair at Kyneton. Did a bit of tripping around over the weekend and saw lots of old buildings and structures.
One that I really liked was this Bluestone railway viaduct at Malmsbury. It was enormous and so well constructed. We felt tiny when standing under it.
Sorry, only taken with a phone camera.
