Back on track, so to speak....trains; no Tassie photos...

Trevor, On Thursday morning I take morning tea to visit 90+ year old thru the local neighbourhood visitor program.
While I've been visiting this old gent for some 4.5yrs now, he's in a "supported care" facility and does a lot of just sitting, so I often open up the forum to share the toys, the model and other bits & pieces.

    Today I showed him your photos Trev and as he worked in CSIRO Research in Tassie for a number of years, seemed very pleased to spend some time viewing & discussing the where-abouts of the photos;
    SO THANK YOU TREV
    for helping me today.

While on THANK YOU'S, one got to Alan [Fletty] for his UK, Scotland holiday blog
plus Dallas {treecycle] & Keith for there current projects in today's visiting.

    Cheers Peter

PS - The old gents son & Brett [aka FF] when to school together....small world!!

Thanks Peter I'm really happy about that.

Here's a couple of shots from today on my quilting thread!

A guy up the road keeps a couple of Peacock's.
Here a picture just for Cathie.

This arvo we had one of those little Tassie sun showers.
It looks like my side fence may just be part of a watercourse.

It doesn't seem to matter where you go down here Waterfall's appear.
    Good Fun!.

    Cheers
    Trev.

Well how good the morning after yesterdays storm.
The storm water forced open the mouth of the river over night.

After that I headed out to the Bicheno road to see if the creek bed that was dry yesterday morning was running.
I took a couple of shots along the way.

Sure enough after yesterdays storm the creek was running a treat!

    Cheers
    Trev.

By the way Peter that Peacock file was 4MB mate.

    Sorry mate!.
    I've been working on a blueprint of a 1920's Precision V Twin.
    Lost track of time.
I'll go have a cup of coffee and see if there's any happy snaps to be had in the garden.

    Cheers
    Trev.
