Default Sorry no birds just lizards ...

I know many have great pics of birds here. Unfortunately the type of birds I have a re really few and not easy to get.
I though have a few of the following about my stables.

The blue Tongues and stable cat have a few sharing problems with the cat food but due to the size of the lizard it looks like lizard wins.

The other lizards are bearded dragons, youngish ones. These are females. there is a male about and looks great in his mating colours of red and black. I have not a picture of him yet, he wont stand still long enough.

    Hi,
I think I have just photographed another member
of your blue tongued lizard family. He was stalking
insects near the doorway of my workshop.

You will have to fatten that one up a bit.
Try tined cat food, the meat, (beef), version not the chicken or fish. They love the gravy.
The one in my feed shed eats about 2 heaped table spoons a day plus what ever it catches.

    they are great.

I only have skinks around here. But owing to the evolutionary pressure of heeps of kookaburras they move to fast to photograph. The mice are a lot faster than the city ones to.

    Re fattening:
Sorry, still had my "slimline" lens on the camera from when
    I last photographed my wife.
The blue tongued lizard is really six inches wide.

    Caption:
"I don't care if it has a bit of a smell, this stuff is nice and moist and brings breakfast to it so I just have to sit here and wait for it to come"

    baby Bearded Dragon.

On a side note, what I really hate is when you turn up with a camera no lizards or birds. When you turn up with no camera you end up tripping over the lizards and all they do is give you a look as if to say 'Well where is the camera, I am here and ready'.
