    I've got Emerald Fruit Doves living at my place, but they are not as colourful as that Fella.

    Thanks guys. Looking at my bird book the females and juveniles are rather drab looking, whereas the male is brightly coloured. Seems the way of the things in the bird world

    Thanks Ed, it was taken inside a bird aviary at Taronga Zoo. ISO was 100 and I used the camera's fill-in flash. Lens used is the 100mm macro.
