    Wildlife everywhere in Chillagoe
    Caught these 2 Tawny Frogmouths having a nap this morning
    Both sound asleep
    Really made my day as I haven't seen one in a few years

    I love Tawnys. We have a family that occasionally appears with new chicks around September. The chicks sometimes peck at their reflections in our patio doors - we were perplexed by the noise when it first happened, and then worried that they were in trouble, but it appears to all be part of growin' up and being a bird.

    Here's a couple I took on the same night. Tree frog had taken up residence in the laundry sink overflow
