Sorry long time no posts but I thought any ex Brits over there might like to see our local colour this time of the year.

Yes they have been spectacular this year, we have had a spell of prolonged autumnal days, (no sharp early frosts) that have brought the best out of our native trees such as Beech, Oak, Ash, Chestnut, the imported exotics like Acers and Maples have added a vibrant splash that has lasted well.
The pictures were taken on the 27/10 during a walk around local arboretum with house guests.

Hope not, got enough pictures of the stuff thank you, (don't do cold) although with a pre- xmas visit to southern Germany due soon now doubt I will have to put up with an early sample.

Thanks for the welcome back, been browsing occasionally but have had quite a forum workload this side the globe as well as spinny commisions so have had to limit posting time in some areas.
