    Pink Floyd - Pulse

2CD Live album, includes full Dark Side of the Moon, combined with various other classics, bit of stuff from the Division Bell.

    Even better watching the DVD.

    Anything by Microsoft.

To be honest, I can only listen to each CD once, but the sound it makes as it goes through the chipper is wonderfully calming. Gimme a pile of M$ CD's and a good chipper and I'm in Programmer's Heaven!
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Anything at all by Pink Floyd or Dire Straits.
And another artist I think is very underated in this country is David Gray, his album, "Life in slow motion" in my opinion is brilliant.

Had to spin the Pulse Cd around the other way on the CD rack as the little flashing LED in the CD Jacket was annoying the crap out of everyone but me it seemed

I just had Roger Waters on full bore, (live, In the FDlesh DVD) and even louder for Comfortably Numb........bloody brilliant but I'm not sure my neighbour would agree.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

    G'day Gumby,

He might've of heard it, but I couldn't, turn the volume up a bit more, give it all you got.

All this Floyd talk has me itching to get in the shed tomorrow and get the place shaking. :insertsmileyforpinkfloydwithdrawlsymptoms :

Many. And I have them all.

    Ronnie Earl and Friends.
    I Feel Like Going On
    Ronnie Earl Plays Big Blues
    They Call Him Mr. Earl
Deep Blues by Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters

Or, a recent favorite of mine, a pairing of my two favorite guitar players, Ronnie Earl and Duke Robillard.
    The Duke Meets the Earl.

Note: There are many other Ronnie Earl CDs. Specially from his early Blacktop Records days. These are just the ones I could find quickly.

The Eddie Reed Big Band "Hollywood Jump".

Pure, unadulterated 1939 swing jazz. It's so well done, I can listen to it every week.

I must be in a house/trance mood, as my recent high rotation list is heavily biased that way...

    ATB - Seven Years DVD.
Deep Dish - George is on (I've had "Say hello" on repeat for 12-odd hours)
Chiasm - Isolated (from the "Vampire - the masquerade" RPG)
Creating Chaos - Clint Mansell (from the movie "Pi")

And I won't mention nearly two hours of remixes of New Order's Blue Monday (including the Gregorian Chant version)

And Sisters of Mercy for sing-along value.

I have just realised that I have reached new depths in laziness, as I downloaded a few songs rather than stand up, walk to the next room, and get the CDs.

Ahh, now that's the stuff you turn up full bore and get the vocals chords going to.

...black hair, dark aviator sunglasses and a black leather trench coat are optional, but recommended for the full effect.

I pulled the batteries out of mine within days of buying it. My concern was forgetting about them & having them leak & destroy the CD cover & contents. Awesome album, and I only recently got the DVD so it has rekindled the "need for floyd" in the car.
