In keeping with the Ozzie theme. These guys once appeared on The Mike Walsh Show, poor Mike and the blue rinse brigade didn't know what hit 'em.

Got it
Thats ignatius jones from jimmy and the boys.
Only album i can think of is
Not like anybody else.
His sister is monica trapaga, had a band called monica and the moochers and used to be on playschool.
One of jimmy and the boys was a transvestite who ran for parliament in nsw. Cant remember if he/she got elected but i reckon i wouldve voted for hom/her. Be an improvement over the usual crop.
I thonk i saw them on the mike walsh show as well

Obscurity knocks (maybe)
Considering something is only obscure, In my opinion, If you haven't heard it I am putting up 7. Thats right Seven
album covers for your perusal.
I reckon though that the winner will be the first one to get, I was gonna say one but what the heck, Two (2) right.
There are
2 - aussie
2 - Irish
2 - English and
1 - American
Predominantly from late 70's - 80's
Clues. The aussies are not from victoria, although the lead singer of one of them now resides here.
One of the poms was on an episode of the young ones
The irish, one of the lead singers of one of the bands is a close friend of another famous Irishman
And the americans are just plain strange, but in a good way.
Also the first two pics are front and back cover of one of the english ones. don't wanna make it to hard.

I probably am about the same vintage as you grumpy.
I'm a '58 myself. But a recent immigrant south from nsw to sunny melbourne. well in '92 at least. So I'm afraid I don't know any of those places.
speaking of vintages I had a 98 petaluma coonawarra on monday that was a pretty good one. I'm getting patient in my old ageLast edited by mattocks; 24th October 2012 at 04:19 PM. Reason: added sentence

the surf break
Nobody has had a crack at where the surf break on the Atlantics cover was taken.
It's in Oz. Never surfed there but it's a great photo.

V. Good pacman
All correct except virgin prunes. The album i have has a diffrent name. Thats not to say the same pic wasn't used elsewhere.
Impressed with picking throbbing gristle.
Thats 5 out of seven and your go i'd say. But any ideas on the others would be taken
Cheers
Frank
