Uh, something to do with reincarnation perhaps? The Grateful Dead?

I wish I hadn't of put that up, now I've got one of their songs stuck in my head. With this one, 80's.

Looks like a short band name (lower right). Cover looks kinda English (i.e. doesn't look American)

Short band name, no. Band name top left and name of album bottom right. You're right, they're not American, I've gone with Aussie again.

hmm.. I was going to put some words up but googled my own words and it was the 1st result!

Ok, they originated from Melbourne and their music was classed as "New Romantic". They only had 2 albums, their first their most successful.

hihihh I ALWAYS have a song in my head, and you can tell that I was born pre 70s coz like a vinyl record they always get stuck.

About 6 weeks ago I had the worst case ever with Won't Get Fooled Again (and you have no idea how much I want that to trigger someone else into it with just the mere mention of it). Anyway, you know how it finishes with those four chopped chords followed by a power chord (all the same chord - A major I think)...well every time it got to that (this is in my wee head you understand), Ken Pete Townshend would hold that last chord for a while, and then the bastard would launch into the whole bloody thing again!

I kid you not, this went on for about 3 weeks and it ended up driving me crackers. Just dozing off to sleep, yup, long systain on A Major, and around we went again.

I have a standby track that I play (in the head) when this happens, and that's the opening track of Ten Summoner's Tales (If I Ever Lose My Faith In You). Very often this does the trick because for some reason this song can break the looping. Go figure.

That album took me by storm when it was released. I remember driving down to Picton one night to see John Williamson and I was playing it in the car (which had after market sound, with a subwoof) for the second time AND I WAS HOOKED MAN! Many years later I got hold of the DTS version and that is just a superb production. The bottom end is bloody wicked! Vinnie Colluata's (sp?) snare has a vicious crack to it.

Sorry, a bit OT and meandering.

I was thinking The Saints or the Church. Neither of them from Melbourne, nor very romantic.

    How about The New Romantics?

Yup, I'm the same. This thread has prompted me to fire up iTunes and now I'm going to have this stuck in my head for the next couple of days (not the answer):
