Good stuff Ironwood, I really liked Chase The Sun.

Here's one from the late great Rory Gallagher.

I'd never heard of "Chase the Sun" before, been around since 2006 apparently.
They are doing some of the Bluesfests this year.

Rory Gallagher was great allright, I have one of his albums, not sure which one, it's swallowed up in the 200 stacker, I just hear one of his songs now and again as it goes around on random.

Here's something a bit different, some Zydeco, Clifton Chenier

And some Popa Chubby for good measure,

I think Popa Chubby deserves another look.
I've burnt up my download limit checking this guy out since I found him on Youtube yesterday.

Can't believe I have'nt heard of him before now, has anyone else heard of him before ?
Seems to play in the States and Europe.

    Thanks for those links Pat.

Might have to try and chase up a couple of his albums.

This guys not new by any means, but not many in Australia would have heard of him.
Lam Morrison from Thailand, I went and saw him 16 nights in a row back in '86.
He told me to tell everyone back in Australia that Jimi Hendrix was alive and kicking in Thailand.
Saw him again playing in a bar in Phuket a few years back, he still remembered me.

There are plenty of clips of him on Utube, but most are poor sound and picture quality, just found this one, it's a little bit better than most of them,

    Cool

Interesting Sound and interpretation. He can certainly play!

Don't know that I would call it blues.

There is a definite overlay of the South East Asian influence in the playing.

True Artme, this one's not real bluesy.
He mainly plays rock covers on stage, but can really belt out the blues when he's in the mood.
I put this one up, because it was about the only one I could find with half decent sound and picture quality.
He's got quite a few other songs up on Utube but they are not good quality recordings, shame because he can certainly play that guitar. His vocals let him down a bit, as you will notice if you have a look at a few of the other ones on Utube.
He loves it when there's someone in the audience that can sing, and they get up on stage with him.
