Default Who do you regret not seeing?

Two artists/bands that I really regret not going to see when I had the chance are stevie Ray Vaughan when he toured in '84 and '86 and the U2 Joshua Tree tour. Interested to see what bands other forumites regret no seeing when they had the chance.

Saw 'em in '71 (I think (I did see them, I think it was '71)). If you've got Ummagumma you'll have an idea of what it was like. Careful With That Axe Eugene was probably the highlight IMO.

Another couple of uncle ted fans.

    My favourite would be "Stranglehold"

When I get to the USA, my itinerary will be based around 2-3 Ted concerts, Indy 500 race and anything then that SWMBO wants to do.

I became a fan of Pink Floyd just after they toured in 88. I also became a fan of The Cure just after they were here. Think I missed a Dire Straits tour in the smae way. I do really have lousy timing in when I start appreciating bands that's for sure.

The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

All I can say to the Uncle Ted fans is:

    "GONZO RULES"

Not too sure about the Damn Yankees period though.

I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn. Both times.

Would have loved to see Pink Floyd.
