What was it with these bands from the 70's that made them want to look as much like chicks as they could?

One for the blues lovers out there.
Here's one of the greatest blues duets of all time IMHO. This song smoulders.

Yeah I've got that on DVD. John Lee Hooker - Come See about Me.

    Here's another classic blues duet.

Albert King and SRV. Stormy Monday.

I've been searching for a Kylie Mingoue one. Can't seem to find it.

(you knew I'd get around to her eventually, didn't you )
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Not exactly, but she did something with half a bit of passion singing with Nick Cave, "Where the wild roses grow" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIMxNLl8RNs

By far the best thing she ever did...IMHO

    Cheers

Then there's my Pommie mate Trev, with whom we travelled through Sibera a few years ago.

Now Trev is otherwise known as Fez Townsend, a dashing young (OK forty-something) who occasionally plays with Happy Testicles, but is pretty busy at the moment with the Rinky Dinks in Bristol.

Like so many others, they started mucking round in a pub, and .....!

    Cheers,

Bonni Raitt is sensational. I seen her last time she was here at the Melb music and blues festival.

From that same album is this cracker. I could listen to it over and over and over
