What Ive got on the Ipod?... bloody hell I have no friggin clue half the time... my hippy yippee yaya younger sis in Broome filled it up with somewhere around 800 songs while I was up there... theres Van Morrison Coors Desmond Dekker (Isralites) Black Sabbath Cat Stevens some American Indian flute music a bit of Mozart Slim Dusty Slim Pickens Dueling Banjos "Desaterata" Pink Boom Funk B B King Blues Brothers Abba???? (yes Im sure shes insane too but hey shes my sis so I just slide over that one ) Celtic music LRB Bob Segar John Denver ACADACA (of course) John Farnham Jimmy Barnes Rodregues Kermit the frog Dr Hook... sorta all over the shop actually! But mostly pretty cool

Stopped at the lights today with the American Indian flutes and singing going LOUD and you shoulda seen the young sheila in the little convertable capri turn and stare!!! AMAZING!! but there I was singing along with them full volume not a care in the world!!!

Actually best was up in Port Headland when we stopped at the servo to fuel up and theres this old couple in the car... well okay they were only a few years older than me... and out I get and out blares Black Sabbath WAR PIGS FULL BLAST!!! man you woulda thought Id sliced and diced a pig the way the shock flew across their faces!! Old before their time poor buggars no appreciation of a legend of a song But Brie fixed their wagons and flipped along to Kermit and they smiled at the "rainbow connection" and flung a final glare at me as they drove of into their ancient lives
Believe me there IS life beyond marriage!!! Relax breathe and smile learn to laugh again from the heart so it reaches the eyes!!

After five years of driving around with a CD player that skipped most songs on a CD, I got a thingy called an MP3 player. This is something from future to me, as I'd only just learned to burn CD's that skip most of the tunes on the CD's.

Now I have moved far far further into the future with a device called an MP3 player transmitter. I had to take SWMBO into the future with me, and she can now change the battery in the MP3 player as we travel the highways. Kids of today have it all.

We have stuffed the MP3 player full of bluegrass (Tony Rice), country music and Commander Cody, and grandchildren always sit quietly as they listen to this soothing music. HAW HAW HAW!!!

In my old van I had a jammed cassette that I had pulled the tape out of in frustration about 10 years ago. In my newer van I have another cassette player but am too scared to put anything into it. I generally only listen to the ABC - usually newsradio - anyway. If we go on long drives in SWMBO car we usually take a talking book or her iPod containing an eclectic mix of everything ranging from 50's onwards.

Triple J on the dial....and it rarely alters.

CD player is currently housing The Flaming Lips.

Kudos goes to Harry72 for the best music without having to tune in to the radio,

Reading these, I'm trying to remember all the discs in mine...

    Joe Jackson - Greatest hits.
Billy Joel - Disc 3 of a 3 disc greatest hits set.
    John Farnham - 33-1/3.
    Enya - Watermark.
    Tommy Emanual - Determination.
Phil Collins - Dance into the Light.
Fleetwood Mac - Greatest Hits (1988 release).
    Police - Greatest Hits.
    AC/DC - Thunderstruck.
    Bee Gee's - Live.
    - That's the 10 stacker...
    And currently in the headunit;
Robbie Williams - Swing when you're winning.

And Vega Melbourne on the dial.

Recently upgraded the car stereo to a JVC 2-DIN unit, so it was time to refresh the content...

Now it has a secure digital card with...ATB megamix by DJ Blue (still listening to it), Paul Oakenfold's Goa Mix, Sisters of Mercy, Deep Dish, Genitorturers, some mash ups (Sisters of Mercy vs. Beastie Boys vs. Gwen Stefani; Rammstein vs. Beastie Boys; Plump DJ's vs. The Flying Lizards, Laibach vs. Echo & the Bunnymen), Daft Punk, and the final few episodes of this year's series of Doctor Who (handy viewing when you are waiting for someone).

And there's still space on the card!
