Things to do in China & South Korea
Hi everyone,
A good friend is getting married in South Korea (Seoul) in December, so we will be making the trip over.
My wife and I will also do a holiday in China while we are 'in that neck of the woods' - probably a week or so.
Is anyone able to give advice on what we should do? Haven't thought about South Korea yet, but will probably get a package holiday for China and do the Great Wall, Forbidden City, and definitely the Terracotta Army.
Any woody things that anyone knows of?
Thanks for your help.
Nathan.

I go to China on a fairly regular basis. I meet up with a good friend of mine with whom I share a common love for wood. we usually hit the round of Chinese wooden furniture shops and antique shops that always have a wide range of wooden objects. My friend also knows several owners of wooden furniture workshops in China. If you can arrange to visit a wood workshop in China it is a worthwhile experience. The things that Chinese craftsmen can do with tools that are infinitely inferior to the tools that most of us have in our home workshops is amazing.
