Well today I headed up the mountain to the Forum BBQ at Katoomba. I was going to stay there overnight and do some sight seeing, but it started raining with hail lightning etc etc just after the BBQ finished. So just headed off again. The highway back to Canberra was blocked due to an accident, so the decision which way I was going (via Canberra or Coast) was made for me. I ended up at Kiama staying at a Caravan Park overnight.
Tomorrow heading south again along the coast. If any Forumites want to meet up with me, send me a PM ASAP with your phone/contact details and perhaps we can meet up.
If nothing changes, I will be heading your way on way back from Darwin late this year, I also plan to be at Proccy this year.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

The rain continued, although just light showers, so pushed on all the way to Bega. No point stopping for sight seeing in this weather, but I know this neck of the woods pretty well.
I will be here based in Bega for a week.
Yep No stabilizing gear though, it goes off slowly in temps above 24C, so would be off before I got there.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Left Bega this morning heading south. My mate has been working all the time and got sucked in to playing lawn bowls all weekend to fill in for someone, so the wood collecting and slabbing went out the window . Not that I was keeping any, but it would have been fun. Did a bit of surf and river fishing but caught zip . It has been great weather at least, although the storm clouds moved in last night, another good reason to head off a bit early.
Was going to stop at Lakes Entrance but decided to keep going. Currently at Bainsdale for a refresher nap then continuing a bit further. Should be in Melbourne tomorrow so I can start organising fine details for the car modifications.

There are nowhere near enough photos in this thread!
You know the rules.
Rule 1. No photos, it didn't happen.

I ended up stopping at the free camp site just north of Rosedale
I have been posting pics of people in the Woodies Events threads. Apart from them, broke my camera at Forum BBQ , so no more until I get another one in Melb.
Yes mate. The car is being modified ata place out near Robbos, so I will be dropping it off on the 20th then staying at his place until BBQ on weekend. Because the car mods will take entire time I'm in Melb , once back at mum's (train from 's), I'll be relying on her car for day visits when available.

Thanks for the offer DJ, but mum's car will be fine. I was only disappointed because I couldn't take the camer about with the trailer etc.
I arrived today and currently in Ivanhoe. I have already set up the camper out front and will unpack the trailer tomorrow. I have to decide what to take to 's, as what ever I take I will need to bring back on the train.
