    Default Holiday down under

Heading down under in January 2008 with full week stops in Newcastle, Melboune and Perth. Looking for Woodworking clubs, gatherings, shed crawls that would allow a Yank to visit, learn and share. Maybe even shout for a Tinnie or a pint.
Had a GREAT time with the Canberra woodworkers club and demonstration at the National Folk Fetival last year. Great bunch of blokes.
    Thanks
    Pete

Hi Pete. Welcome to the Forum. How long have you been in Cary? A native or a transplant?

Southern term for Cary has lately become Concentrated Area of Relocated Yankees.

I'm sure these blokes will be glad to see you as long as it's your shout.
    Cheers,

    Bob

Been here 16 years. And have lived or visited in ALL corners of the US.
Born in Miami - don;t think that qualifies as a Yankee, although I do speak funny conpared
to folks in other parts of this country.
